بركان ايسلندا يثور اول مره بعد 200 عام

إعلان حالة الطوارئ جنوب (أيسلندا) بعد ثوران بركان للمرة الأولى خلال 200 عام



ثار البركان تحت سطح النهر الجليدى ما أسفر عن ذوبان الجليد لمسافة 500 متر
أعلنت أيسلندا حالة الطوارئ في الإقليم الجنوبية بعدما ثار بركان اليوم الأحد وعرض ثلاث تجمعات للخطر بالقرب من نهر إيافيالايوكول الجليدي 120 كيلومترا شرق ريكيافيك.

وذكر أحد خبراء الجيولوجيا بعد أن تفقد المنطقة بواسطة طائرة مروحية إن البركان ثار في البداية تحت سطح النهر الجليدى حوالي منتصف ليلة أمس السبت ما أسفر عن ذوبان الجليد لمسافة 500 متر، ولم ترد تقارير بوقوع خسائر في الأرواح ولكن السلطات أجلت حوالي 500 شخص وسط مخاوف من احتمال ذوبان الجليد وحدوث فيضانات.
